Sr. Sales Operations Manager (Account-based, Channel, and Alliance Sales)

Rentlytics is looking for a Sr. Sales Operations Manager (Account-based, Channel, and Alliance Sales) to develop and grow a high-functioning Sales Operations discipline, through better process, training and technology.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be directly responsible for supporting Rentlytics sales pipeline health, implementing operational best practices, and launching strategic programs and incentives that drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. Successful candidates will have proven experience optimizing Salesforce for cross-functional use, leading Account-based sales operations, and partnering with both demand generation teams and Sales leadership. You'll launch and manage all the systems and processes necessary to support Account-based sales, including customer ecosystem management, business development, operational leadership & programmatic development.


  • Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities for sales process improvement, working in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and CS
  • Assist sales management in overcoming process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
  • Implement enabling technologies for the field sales teams, and create standards for the effective use of Salesforce
  • Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs
  • Partner with Finance & Sales management to establish & develop Business KPIs & reporting to drive business insights
  • Automate business processes--like quote-to-cash--and streamline reporting through leveraging operational best practice and tooling
  • Advise other cross-functional groups regarding the channel business, programs and Salesforce best-practices
  • Recommend and provide relevant information and analysis on customer segmentation, account assignments and territory coverage


  • 5+ years of sales operations experience
  • Salesforce expertise is a must
  • Strong analytical skills and effective decision-making ability
  • Intermediate Excel abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize, maintain attention to detail and work under critical time-frames
  • Able to support traditional software company end-of-quarter peak timelines
  • Direct experience with an account-based sales strategy and process
  • Proven ability in implementing successful cross-functional programs and business processes in high growth environment
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex business issues and define solutions
  • Strong business judgment and ability to balance needs across -- sales and program integrity
  • Takes initiative, accountability & responsibility for own work
  • Must be highly motivated, results-driven, energetic and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
